I preface this review of The Money Chase Inside Harvard Business School dvd by emphasizing that I’m more than aware that I’m still in the process of learning just like everyone else and do not claim myself to be a guru. Additionally, I’m more than aware that business and financial success involve multiple variables that extend beyond just right timing with magisterial strategy, matching career goals/personal behavior with passion etc. However, I’m thankful to have this dvd to watch because I’ve noticed how business savvy and charisma are highlighted/implied in many of today’s financial success stories. 5.0 out of 5 stars Touches on Both Themes of Disenchantment and Hope, May 28, 2015
I took a chance on seeing Mad Max; Fury Road because my husband wanted to see this film. Fortunately, the movie turned out to be a bargain and well worth it (the location and timing when we saw the movie allowed us to see it at a discount). As many know, Mad Max Fury Road stars a multiple number of today’s popular actors/actresses (Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult and many additional well-known celebrities). The movie features a group of women banding together to get away from a very tyrannical leader. Two of the men end up becoming a significant part of the female entourage with dramatic results. The movie does center very much on the dystopian side, yet paints a powerful message of the amazing things that can happen when people unite together for a similar cause.

Sardis Pollo a la Brasa was one of the places where I convinced my husband to give it a try. I had previously spotted this place just this past March (I  confess when I was picking up bacon wrapped crust pizza from Little Caesar’s). Both my husband and I got fountain drinks. My husband chose the lamb gyro platter while I selected the pescado con queso sandwich. I liked that both the servers and cashier were courteous, delivered our food in a fair time frame, and the food was cooked to the right texture and delectable flavor.  I chose roasted potatoes as the side.  The servers generously gave a fair variety of sauces (the green salsa verde sauce was one of my favorites and paired well with the roasted potatoes I had as a side). I also like that the menu was written with visual pictures and word descriptions that were easy to understand even if you do not know how to speak Spanish and/or only know a few Spanish words (I only say this because I reluctantly admit that the fact that I do not know much Spanish indirectly stops me from enjoying more restaurants or even music from artists that I would be fine with giving a chance of listening but pass up on buying due to only knowing a few Spanish words).

    First to Review

I’m thankful to have an abundance of affordable stores and shopping places both near where my husband and I live and ones that are accessible via public transportation (very essential as we are both currently car-free and rely on public transporation).  The Hyattsville convenience store comes in handy because my husband and I are often able to easily come in and grab whatever drinks we need or want when we may want to only haul certain stuff for a short walk to where we live.  Additionally, the cashiers inside the store are frequently polite to us regardless of how busy it is and often make us feel appreciated as customers.

My husband convinced me to give the Academy 8 Greenbelt theater a chance due to the affordable ticket prices for a movie that he was truly wanting to see. I went ahead and agreed, especially because it mattered more to me that we were going to spend some time together for a relaxing evening out. I was also pleasantly surprised at the friendly customer service and the theater being pretty clean for the day that we chose to see the movie. Last, but not least, I’m glad to be at an affordable theater were the movie showed at a reasonable time after the movie trailers started playing (I have actually been at one movie theater before where people in the theater where moviegoers wondered when the movie was finally going to play after waiting a reasonable amount of time for the film to begin).

  • King Kong Restaurant

    3.0 star rating

One major pro to this place; one of the employees of King Kong at least took my order over the phone in a polite and efficient manner. The food was ready within a reasonable timeframe when my husband and I went to pick up our orders and the food was pretty cheap. Con; The shrimp fried rice that I ordered was not to my liking, compared to some of the other versions of shrimp fried rice that I ordered from other Chinese food places. Additionally, there was only a scant amount of shrimp and fried egg in my order compared to what I have received from other places (the rice and ingredients in the order were ok but not what I would order again from this place). My husband ordered some meat that he expected to receive some type of sauce with (there appeared to be no sauce). We had also ordered some crab rangoons and were surprised that those also did not come with any sauce. The food came with some soy sauce, which was just ok. My husband politely shrugged it off which influenced me to also just be calm about it.  I consider myself pretty fair minded and reasonable when rating restaurants and fast food places. Therefore it is not easy for me to rate the food as barely edible when both my husband and I at least got respectable customer service.

I’m determined and intend to somehow find a legal way to purchase and outright pay for at least one home for my husband and I by January 1,2035 regardless of what statistics may say. However, to be fair, I do understand that this article at least provides a ball-park figure of what is needed to purchase a home. Additionally, I also understand that others looking at this Business Insider listing may find it more than helpful. This listing also provides a helpful reference on an important decision that has previously weighed on my mind and is now unexpectedly resolved.
